Jackson Centennial :: Henry M. Jackson Foundation
Celebrating the Henry M. Jackson Centennial - 1912-2012
From 1912 until his untimely passing in 1983, Senator Henry M. "Scoop" Jackson made an indelible mark in the fields in which he played a key leadership role. To mark the centennial of Senator Jackson's birth and make meaningful and lasting contributions in the fields in which he worked, the Foundation will host a series of events in partnership with leading institutions on pressing policy issues and public service leadership. The Foundation also created a Centennial Film, which chronicles Senator Jackson's life and the work of the Foundation.
We hope you will be able to join us in celebrating the Senator's 100 year legacy in 2012. A calendar of centennial events is provided for your reference below. Check back often, as new events and updates will be added regularly throughout the year. Should you wish to attend any of the events listed or would like more information on the centennial, please e-mail the Foundation office at: foundation@hmjackson.org.
